Vikings unveil new jersey for Jared Allen

The Minnesota Vikings are launching a new uniform for Jared Anderson, the linebacker who was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2018 NFL draft.

Anderson, a 6-foot-3, 220-pounder, is expected to wear the team’s signature jersey for a second season.

The Vikings said they will begin rolling out the new uniform in October.

The Minnesota Vikings announced Friday that they have selected Jared Allen to play in the team uniform for the second season in a row.

The team said Allen will wear the No. 17 jersey for the first time in 2018.

The NFL Players Association is urging fans to sign the petition for Allen to wear an NFL uniform.
